Originally from Toronto, Kristal has spent the past seven years building her craft in Canmore’s vibrant mountain community. With over six years behind the chair, she’s known for her easygoing energy, inclusive approach, and love for creative barbering and cutting — from shags and mullets to fades, razor work, and modern short styles.

Kristal began her career in barbering school but quickly branched out into all types of cutting, blending technical precision with a creative eye. She’s passionate about creating a safe, comfortable space where everyone feels welcome in her chair. Every appointment is a collaborative effort — working together with each client to bring their vision to life.

She’s also the face behind Lucky Penny Hair Co., named after her beloved dog Penny — the namesake and spirit behind her work.
